Curious by nature.
Reliable by design.

I like knowing what makes things tick, from networks and servers to the tools people use every day. I bring that curiosity to ICT projects across nonprofit, enterprise, contact-centre, and retail settings, helping teams spend less time fighting technology and more time getting things done.

Still curious. Still asking how it works.

A few things I’ve worked on

Problems solved.
Things made better.

A few real-world fixes and improvements across nonprofit, enterprise, and retail settings. I’ve kept the details high level to respect organizational privacy.

01 / CONNECTIVITY

Resilient connectivity, lower cost

Improved the balance between cost and service continuity by implementing a dual-WAN architecture. The change added a second internet path for resilience and reduced recurring monthly internet costs by more than 50%.

Network resilience
02 / INFRASTRUCTURE

Fibre and wireless modernization

Coordinated a fibre modernization project across eight residential houses. The work improved wireless coverage and network performance while providing a stronger foundation for reliable digital services.

Multi-site delivery
03 / GOVERNANCE

Stronger ICT operations

Created an incident management framework and supporting ICT standards. Standardized network diagrams, asset and software inventories, user access records, and infrastructure documentation to improve operational visibility.

ICT governance
04 / JAMAICA LAUNCH

Building Optimum’s IT foundation in Jamaica

Joined before the first server or computer was installed. Led the startup infrastructure rollout, including the first 200 PCs from ItelCX, server-room setup, switches, structured cabling, and cable management. By my departure in 2024, the operation had grown to more than 700 PCs supporting over 1,000 agents across shifts and 100 permanent full-time staff. I also managed local vendor onboarding and coordinated Jamaican suppliers with international partners.

05 / ASSET MANAGEMENT

From spreadsheets to an online asset portal

Designed and created a centralized, server-hosted asset management portal, moving asset registration and monitoring from Excel spreadsheets to an online system.

  • One central record for equipment details, assignments, and status
  • Clearer tracking of asset returns and redeployments
  • Better inventory reporting and audit readiness

I enjoy the mix: figuring out network and infrastructure problems, making systems more reliable, and helping people get more from their technology.

Professional experience

A career built
one problem at a time.

I started in hands-on support, grew into infrastructure leadership, and still enjoy getting close to the problem when it calls for it.

I’ve always been interested in technology and how things work. As a child, I’d pull things apart to figure them out, sometimes getting into trouble with my parents for it. They weren’t always thrilled, but that curiosity stuck around and still guides how I approach ICT.

Moving from Ibex Global to ItelCX was a deliberate choice to build deeper hands-on experience. I took a step back to make a leap forward. My work ethic and dedication helped me earn a promotion from Technical Analyst, Tier II, to IT Manager.

I also support staff onboarding and cybersecurity awareness.

Life beyond ICT

Family, cars, and time to recharge.

Outside work, I’m a single dad to a teenage daughter. Family keeps me grounded, and I make time to unwind around cars and motorsport.

I enjoy attending local speedway events and private street racing on cordoned-off private roadways away from public roads. My personal car is a modified, naturally aspirated Honda Prelude.
